Change Management

At the start of most large-scale technology or process re-engineering projects, people within an organisation can be divided into three groups.

  • Change Positive: individuals who are project proponents and see the change it engenders as a good thing.
  • Change Negative: individuals who are against the project for one reason or another.
  • Change Neutral: individuals who adopt a "wait and see" approach and who see both positives and negatives in the impending change. Usually this is the biggest group and can swing one way or the other depending on the project delivery process and outcome.

The objective of change management is to ensure that as many people as possible are in the Change Positive group at the end of the project.

BSM have successfully managed change in a large number of ERP and Value Stream Optimisation projects and have developed a comprehensive and structured methodology, which reduces time and effort and makes the change process tangible and measurable.
